Introducing the pride of Notre Dame Lacrosse, Kasey Choma. After Winning a New York State High School Lacrosse Championship in 2019 with Eastport South Manor, this High School All American Midfielder and number one overall recruit took her talents to South Bend Indiana to join a dominant Notre Dame Lacrosse team.
In her Freshman Year Choma led the team with 22 goals in seven games and was an easy pick to be named to the Inside Lacrosse All Rookie Team. Choma was also named to the Inside Lacrosse All American Third Team. Choma kept the hot streak going her sophomore year, leading the team in goals once again with 45 goals in 18 games. The Awards and Honors continued to pile in after her sophomore season, finding herself on the Tewaaraton Watch List and being named Second Team All American by U.S Lacrosse Magazine, Inside Lacrosse, and the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association.
Choma is known for being a born winner. Along with winning a High School New York State Championship in 2019, she also helped Team USA capture the gold medal at the 2019 World Lacrosse U19 Championship. Choma will look to bring that same winning mentality to Notre Dame as she enters her Junior Year. Choma exemplifies leadership, hardwork and dedication to the sport of Lacrosse, qualities that make her a perfect addition to the Lacrosse Unlimited Team.
