With the college lacrosse season kicking off, and sports betting becoming legalized in more states every day we have launched our own friendly betting contest in the office.

Friday, February 11th
North Carolina vs Richmond (+3) O/U 21.5
We're expecting a low-key barn burner here. Both North Carolina and Richmond are looking to prove themselves this year. UNC is being talked about as if they had a massive fall due to graduations and players transferring. I guess everyone didn’t see UNC has the #1 class of freshman this year, and Chris Gray on their team. Richmond has been looking to add their name to the powerhouse schools for a while now. They have been improving year after year. The Spiders hit a speed bump last year but are looking to bounce back and what a perfect way to start it off.
Saturday, February 12th
Maryland vs Loyola (+3) O/U 24.5
This is going to be a special rivalry game to watch. Maryland will be looking to kick it into high gear and start the season 2-0. The Greyhounds will be looking to shock the world early on in the season with an upset win. Maryland already playing a game is going to play a big part in what side you pick. Is Loyola going to make those first game mistakes? Or is the veteran led Greyhound squad going to go toe-to-toe with the Terps?
Sunday, February 13th
Johns Hopkins (+4) vs Georgetown O/U 23
This is the game of the week without a doubt. Two heavyweights going at it on a Sunday afternoon. Hopkins has a game Friday night against Towson which should be a good matchup as well. Are the Blue Jays going to be gassed come Sunday? Or are they going to get after this Hoya squad and make this a game of the year candidate in the second week? Georgetown has a lot of hype coming into the season having some new key pieces on their roster, but it’s just their first game. So we might be seeing some first game mistakes from the Hoya team, but they do have veterans to lead the way.
