Wow, we got an absolute treat with the mid-week slate of games that happened, Cornell vs ‘Cuse going to OT, Marquette vs Notre Dame, and Duke vs Virginia. But we aren’t done yet, it’s time to get ready for the weekend!

North Carolina vs Syracuse (+3, O/U 24.5) Saturday, April 16 4pm ESPNU

Both teams need a win desperately to save their seasons. UNC is coming off two straight losses in the ACC to Duke and Virginia. Syracuse is in a slump, losing their last three in a row, one to ACC foe Notre Dame, then two New York state rivalries with their losses Albany and Cornell.  The Orange lead the all-time series 18-10, but the Tar Heels won the last two matchups in the series. On average, the amount of goals scored in their games has been 12.11, but we’re expecting a much higher goal count in this one. Both defenses have been struggling, so it should be fun to watch these high powered offenses get to work Saturday afternoon.

Maryland vs Ohio State (+5.5, O/U 25.5) Saturday, April 16 4pm B1G Network

The Terps already took Rutgers, now they have their sights set to the Buckeyes on Saturday. Ohio State has had three away games, going 1-2, and the win was back in February. The Buckeyes are going to have their work cut out for them this weekend. If the Buckeyes can pull off the impossible this weekend, they will secure their spot in the NCAA playoffs. Without it they are a bubble team right now because of their inconsistency all year. It’s all about which Buckeye team comes to play this weekend.

#5 Cornell vs #9 Army (+2.5, O/U 25.5) Saturday, 3pm April 16 ESPN+

Cornell is on fire this year, having only lost one game to Penn. Army has two losses on the year to Rutgers and Lehigh. This should be a very evenly matched battle that you won’t want to miss. The matchup everyone is going to be closely watching is Gavin Adler vs Brendan Nichtern. Nichtern is going to be a finalist for the Tewaarton, putting up 40 points on the season so far. Cornell is on a high right now after beating Syracuse in the Carrier Dome in a game that went into overtime. Both these teams expect to be in the NCAA playoff, and there’s a possibility we see this game again down the road.
