The pick standings have been a roller-coaster ride. Dakota has been on a hot streaking, going 5-0 this week and making it to sole first place. On the flip side, Pete’s #FADEDAKOTA campaign has sent him down to last, bumping Frank up. Chris and MattyTubeLocks are tied up in second, and we have our big dog Joe D. not far behind in 3rd, with new Joe hanging onto 4th after entering the competition in last place. We have another action packed week coming up, so let’s dive in.

Maryland vs Virginia (PK, O/U 29.5) Saturday, March 19th, 3pm Ten Network

This is what everyone has been waiting for… the national championship rematch. UVA got the win over the Terps last year to secure their back-to-back titles, and now the Terps want their revenge. The game is part of the Capitol Classic Lacrosse Tounament being held at Audi Field in Washington D.C. So far this year it has seemed as if the competition is Virginia and Marylan, and then the rest of the field underneath them. This game will be a great measure to see how the two teams stack up against each other. Virginia seems to be hitting their stride now and improving as they look toward a 3rd straight title. It also looks like nobody can stop Maryland after they just scored 24 times against Albany. Buckle up, this is going to be a wild game no matter which way it goes.

Notre Dame vs Michigan (+2.5, O/U 26.5) Saturday, March 19th, 12pm ACC Network

The Irish are in a big slump right now, and need to get back on track. Their defense has not been their usual Notre Dame self and they need to figure it out, quickly. Although Michigan is coming off a loss to Harvard, they have been lighting up the score board this year. This is going to be an interesting Big Ten vs ACC game with a lot at stake for both teams.

Ohio State vs Denver (+2.5, O/U 25.5) Sunday, March 20th, 12pm

If Ohio State wants to prove that they are legit contenders this year, they will take care of Denver this weekend. The loss to Cornell has really set people back on them, but they have all of the pieces to the puzzle, and now just need consistency. This past weekend against Notre Dame they were playing catch-up again after a slow start. Right now, Denver is not the Denver we know, and just might not have it this season. But, they have been close in all of their games this year and just need to figure out how to get over that bridge. Another loss for the Pioneers and they’ll have to hope for a Big East championship over Georgetown, which will not be easy.
