If you missed the All-Star Game this past weekend, we feel bad for you. You missed out on 46 goals in the All-Star Game! Marcus Holman won the MVP with a 7 point performance, as Team Baptiste put a beatdown on Team Farrell.

Now we head into the second half of the season, and every game is that much more significant. The PLL heads to Fairfield this weekend, and we’ve got a pretty solid slate of games on our plate. Our record is 9-8, but we are looking to score a profit come the end of the season, and we feel like we are going to start seeing the board clearer than we ever have.

Atlas vs Redwoods (+2.5, O/U 23.5) 5:00pm Saturday July 23rd ESPN+

Pick: Over 23.5

The first game of the weekend is getting us started off hot. The Redwoods had a shaky start to the season only winning one game. But, the Redwoods all-stars played great in the ASG, each recording multiple points. We expect to see a bit of a resurgence for this game, resulting in a back and forth battle. The Atlas won 17-11 the first time these teams met this year, but we’re expecting even more goals, and feel comfortable taking this over.

Whipsnakes vs Chaos (+1.5, O/U 22.5) 7:45pm ESPN+

Pick: Whipsnakes ML

We all know that the Chaos are struggling this year, and the Whipsnakes are tied for first place right now. The Chaos kept it close in week 1 with a 9-8 game. We’ll see what happens this weekend. We just don’t think that it’s the Chaos’ year and we expect themto take another loss this weekend. But, based on the first matchup, we don’t feel comfortable taking the Whips spread. We’re going with the boring pick here and taking the Whipsnakes straight-up to come out with a dub.

Archers vs Cannons (+2.5, O/U 24.5) 2:00pm Sunday July 24th ESPN2

Pick: Under 24.5

This game smells a little fishy to us. The over/under line seems like Trap City, Utah. We know, the Archers ran up the score on the Cannons last time they played, but we’re expecting a different story here. Here’s what we’re noting:  Schrieber just finished playing a week long sixes tournament where he was running back and forth literally all game long. Lyle Thompson has been fighting injuries for a while now. A lot of players on both sides are coming off of a very lackadaisical all-star weekend. We’re ready to anticipate some sloppy play here, and we’re riding the under all the way to the bank.

Chrome vs Waterdogs (+1.5 O/U 24.5) 4:30pm Sunday July 24th ESPN+

Pick: Waterdogss +1.5, Under 24.5

Waterdogs are the play this weekend. The Waterdog’s head coach, Andy Copelan, coached at Fairfield and is returning to his stomping grounds. The Waterdogs had a multi goal lead on the Chrome back during the Long Island weekend before losing in overtime. So we think these dogs are going to be barking for a win this weekend. The Waterdogs should clean it up heading into the second half of the season and we expect them to eliminate the mistakes that lead to their blown 4th quarter lead. We also think our secret “last-game-under” formula is still good to use on this game. We like the Waterdogs ML but we’re going to go with the spread that way we have a chance in case things go south for us.

O23.5 Atlas vs Redwoods|-1.5 Whipsnakes| Archers -2.5| U24.5 Chrome vs Waterdogs

We’re sticking with some of our individual plays, and going for payout value over our other picks for this week’s parlay. Atlas and Redwoods are going to get this over easy. It’s the first game back from ASG, the energy will be there for sure and it’s their second meeting of the season. We picked Whipsnakes ML for individual game but are going with the spread here. The Chaos are struggling and Whipsnakes are hitting their stride right now. Archers spread should be an easy winner, Lyle Thompson has been injured all year long, and the Archers need a strong second half of the season. Lastly, we’re sticking with the last game under. We expect we’ll see a good amount of goals, but feel the under is safe once again for this weekend.
