Our squad did not have the best outing this past weekend as the PLL hit Long Island. Everyone had pretty average days; Connor Farrell got 22 points on the day but no one else broke 12. In total we came away with 64.4 points. Now it’s time to reset and start over.

Attack

Lyle Thompson, Cannons Tier 1

Everyone is aware that Lyle is arguably the best lacrosse player in the world right now. He was still kind of injured in week 3, but managed to pick up 4 points in their loss. We’re banking on the Cannons upsetting the Chrome this weekend, and a big part of that will be because of Lyle Thompson. We’re expecting a big game from Thompson, hopefully leading us to a big W in player royale.

Midfield

Tom Schrieber, Archers Tier 1

Schrieber managed to tally up 31 player royale points this past weekend in his homecoming game. Tom is second in points in the PLL, behind his teammate Will Manny. We think Tom continues his great play against the Atlas this weekend and puts up a 20+ point Player Royale performance for us.

Face-off

Connor Farrell, Chrome Tier 2

Farrell was the bright point for us this past weekend, scoring 22 points. That’s why we’re going right back to him for this week. We think he is your best value pick within this tier system, because he brings elite faceoff talent but is available in tier 2. He is a massive human and is incredibly strong. Oh, and he has lightning quick hands, so you really don’t have a great chance against him. The Cannons have a 48% face off win percentage compared to the Chrome’s 57%, so Farrell seems to be a solid choice here.

Defense

Jarrod Neumann, Chaos Tier 3

Don’t get us wrong, we’re very aware that Neumann hasn’t had a typical season yet with his usual two-point-bombs and causing mayhem out on the field, so that’s exactly why we are picking him this weekend. We see him notching a couple caused turnovers and will finally get his first 2-pointer under his belt. Don’t sleep on Neumann in tier 3.

Goalie

Blaze Riorden, Chaos Tier 2

Blaze is right about in the middle of the pack right now when looking at the other goalie stats, but we think we’ll see a solid outing from Blaze against the Waterdogs. The Chaos get their full squad back so they’ll have a lot of hype heading into this one.

The squad is projected to score 73 points this weekend, so we’ll see who delivers and who doesn’t.  Put your squad to the test against ours by following the link below with your phone to take on Team LU every week!
