Medina, OH – April 3, 2025 – Lacrosse Unlimited, the nation's largest lacrosse equipment retailer, has stepped forward to support the Medina High School girls' lacrosse team by donating new cleats to all players after a devastating bus fire destroyed a majority of their equipment.
On March 27, 2025, while returning from a spring break trip in the Carolinas, the team's charter bus caught fire on I-77 near Charleston, West Virginia. Thanks to the quick actions of the coaches and staff, all 18 players and three coaches evacuated safely without injuries. However, the fire consumed a significant portion of their gear, including jerseys, lacrosse sticks, and personal belongings.
Understanding the critical role proper footwear plays in athletic performance and safety, Lacrosse Unlimited promptly provided high-quality cleats to each team member, ensuring they can continue their season without further disruption.
