Recently, we have teamed up with a Long Island animal shelter, Save-A-Pet USA based in Port Jeff Station, in order to bring awareness to the animals who need your help. Save-A-Pet is a non-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to protecting and improving the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, with the ultimate goal of finding them a permanent home to love and care for them properly. Save-A-Pet is run solely on public donations, and they need your help to continue their mission.
One special part of this organization is the low-cost medical services they provide – particularly when it comes to spaying and neutering. Every animal is given the same time, love and care that you would see at the veterinary, and is treated with the same expertise – but at a fraction of the cost. Save-A-Pet truly aims to offer the best experience for both the animal and the owner, and it shows in the services they provide.
The continued public education on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals is incredibly important. All animals are innocent, and the love they offer is truly special; their suffering can be prevented with education, and Save-A-Pet is putting in the leg work.
